The pie chart below depicts data about the fame of certain types of movies watched by individuals living in three cities – namely Paris, Lyon, and Nice – of France.
Overall, the figure for documentary films in Nice was the highest, while that for the rest of cities was the lowest. Moreover, the proportion of detective ones was almost similar in all cities.
In detail, the greatest percentage of watched fantasy movies was in Lyon, accounting for 32%, whereas in Paris and Nice, this trend took up 12% and 3%, respectively. When it comes to melodrama, the figure for Paris was remarkably higher than other cities, up 34%, but that in Lyon and Nice was almost identical, accounting for 23% to 24%. Similarly, serials made up 28% in Paris, while that for the rest of the cities was approximately half of that percentage, comprising 15%.
Turning to other details, nearly half of the population in Nice prefer watching documentary films, forming 46%, although in Paris and Lyon this proportion was significantly less than that amount, making up 12% to 14 %, in the same order. However, the segment of detective movies was roughly similar in all cities, accounting for 12% to 16%.
