The bar chart shows the methods of recycling in Eutopia, and the pie display the amount of the processed waste in the years (1980-1990 and 2000).
Overall, the pie chart shows an increase in recycling waste during the years, and the bar data show a decrease in collecting the recyclable waste from the home bins, and more people are taking the trash to the recycling stations by themselves or returning it to the producer.
In 1980, the processed waste was very low, around 7 percent, while the unprocessed one was at 93 percent. In the following 10 years, the amount of recycled waste has risen by 15 percent and the other part has fallen to 78 %, in the last decade, the processed waste reached more than 30 percent and its counterpart fell by 11 percent.
In the years, the main three ways of processing the rubbish were: collecting it directly from the home bin, taking it to stations by themselves or giving it back to manufacturer, respectively. The most common method is the first one, it decreased from 78% in 1980 to 75 in the next decade, then fell to 72 percent in 2000. The second method saw a steady rise from 12 % in 1980 to 18% in the following 20 years. The least used method is the third one staying between 5 to 8 percent at most.
