The average cost of tickets as well as the proportion of them sold in four quarters in Merrintong theatre has been depicted by combination of line chart as well as bar graph in 2010 and 2011. The data has been calibrated in pounds and percentage.
Overall, it is noticeable that prices of tickets increased dramatically over the years and revenue from the tickets rose rapidly with the quarters.
According to the details, in the first quarter of 2010, the total price of the tickets was about 5.2 pounds which peaked to 8.5 pounds in the fourth quarter of the same year. Conversely, in 2011, the ticket was priced at 10.5 pounds in the first half and then dropped to 9.2 in the next half. Surprisingly, last two quarters witnessed the same price as it was in the first one which was 10.5 pounds.
Turning to the bar graph, the ratio of tickets which were being purchased by the people kept to increase at a constant rate of 5% from 20% to 35% during every quarter in 2010. Although, the percentage in the q1 was 30% and surged to only 33% in the second quarter , it upsurged to 50% in last quarter of 2011.
