The line chart illustrates the average ticket prices which are shown in pounds, while the bar chart visually shows the proportion of tickets sold in Merrintong theatre between 2010 and 2011 which is presented quarterly. It is clear that both ticket rates and the percentage of tickets sold were generally increased.
According to the bar graph, the percentage of tickets sold stood at 20% in 2010, and after that, the numbers gradually increased to more than a third in the fourth quarter of 2010. In the next quarter, the number dropped to 30%, and recovered to manage the growth until it reached half in the last quarter of 2011.
Regarding the line graph, the rates started at 5.2 and gradually decreased for about 4 quarters which peaked at about 10.5 in the first term of 2011. And then, the number plunged to 9.2 in the next term And in the next 2 terms, the number remained stable at 10.5.
