The pie charts provide information about students’ level of satisfaction with different facilities at university in the UK in 2007.
Overall, there are three facilities that were evaluated by undergraduates and postgraduates: school rooms, the university cafeteria, and school facilities in general. Undergraduates and postgraduates show general contentment, though differences exist depending on the type of facility.
Regarding school rooms in university, a majority of students expressed a high level of satisfaction. Precisely, both undergraduates and postgraduates illustrated similar reports: 62% and 63% respectively. A smaller share was either quite satisfied or dissatisfied, with unsatisfied students comprising 25% of undergraduates and 23% of postgraduates.
The university cafeteria got more than half of the students satisfied in both categories, made up 73% of postgraduates and 52% of undergraduates. Meanwhile, the percentage of undergraduates who had negative opinions was more common than among postgraduates (26% and 11% respectively).
As for school facilities, they got high rates among undergraduates (85%), in contrast, postgraduates’ satisfaction level was less than half (43%). The share of postgraduates who were quite satisfied was almost twice as high as the undergraduates: 32% and 14% respectively. The quarter percentage of postgraduates were dissatisfied compared to only 1% of undergraduates.
