The given graph provides knowledge about water use worldwide, while the accompanying table depicts water consumption in two different countries.
From an overall perspective, the table shows how three different sectors have used water over the course of a century, with agriculture being the dominant one. Also, there are substantial differences between Congo and Brazil from the consumption per person all the way to the population.
In 1900, both industrial use and domestic use where close to 0, while agriculture was around 500. This situation for industrial and domestic use had a constant development until the end of the first half of the century. Conversely, in 1950 agriculture underwent a twofold increase to approximately 1000. In the second half of the century all three categories increased significantly, peaking in 2000: agriculture at 3000, industrial at a little over 1000 and domestic at nearly 500.
On a more detailed analysis, the table shows that Brazil has better stats than Congo on every field given in 2000. The consumption per person for Brazil is 359, while for Congo is 8 leading into a massive difference. In addition, all this signifcant gap is compounded by the fact that that the population of Brazil is substantially bigger, being 179 million.
