The first map illustrates the site of a cinema in 1980, while the second map demonstrates the developments of the cinema now.
Overall, it is evident that there have been numerous significant changes from 1980 until now, making them become more modern and convenient . It is also noticeable that many new facilities such as cinema rooms, the relax room, and the DVD shop were constructed, the ticket shop and toilet were relocated and the car park was rebuilt.
Regarding the site of the cinema in 1980, this area was relatively simple, with just two cinema rooms, the ticket and drink shop, and toilet. The entrance was located to the north of the cinema. There were two main buildings, namely cinema 1 and cinema 2, situated in the northeast and southwest corner, respectively. It is evident that cinema 1 was significantly smaller than that of cinema 2. Additionally, the toilet was situated in the northwest corner, opposite the cinema 1. Meanwhile, the ticket and drink shops sat side by side in the southeast.
Moving to now, the most noticeable change is shown in the addition and relocation of facilities. Particularly, the cinema 2 was downsized and moved to the northwest, making way for the cinemas 3, 4, and 5. Similarly, the cinema 1 and toilet were also reduced in size and relocated and the toilet was situated between these cinemas. In terms of entertainmental facilities, the old drink shop was demolished and replaced by a new DVD shop. To the southwest corner, the new food and drinks shop and the relaxation room were erected. It is evident that the entrance and the ticket shop has been kept in its original position.
