Overall, it can be clearly seen that the major water consuming sector was the residential accommodation, comprising houses and apartments. In addition, the 2 sectors, which required the most residential water were bathrooms and gardens, with the least amount of water being used by the kitchen.
Residential apartments and houses consumed the most water, accounting for 13 percent and 57 percent respectively, whereas other sectors such as business, government and industry constituted one-third of the total water consumption with business at 10 percent, government at 6 percent and industry at 11 percent.
Regarding households, the bathrooms and gardens percentages were almost similar and stood at almost 28 percent. Fewer water was used for toilets compared to washing clothes and it prevailed in 5 percent. Finally, the consumption of water by kitchen was the lowest, with the percentage being at 10 percent
