On both smartphones and tablets, games are in the majority, making up 35 percent and 57 percent of the total, respectively. They are also followed by social networking, at 29 percent of smartphones and 15 percent of tablets.
While utilities account for 20 percent of the total time on smartphones, only 3 percent of time on tablets. By contrast, music and videos represent merely 8 percent of smartphones, whereas it come third on time consumed of tablets, at 13 percent. News ranks last in both smartphones and tablets, at only 3 percent and 4 percent, respectively.
The proportion of other activities spent on smartphones is 5 percent and on tablets is 8 percent.
Overall, it is clear that games and social networking take up most time on both smartphones and tablets. Conversely, news accounts for the lowest proportion in both devices.
