The diagrams illustrate about yearly school expenditure in the United Kingdom during 1981,1991, and 2001. In general, there were five categories about insurance, resources, furniture and equipment, teachers’ salaries, and other workers’ salaries. From the pie charts, the school increased spending in insurance, resources, furniture and equipment, and fluctuated decreases in salaries of teachers and other workers.
The portion of salaries in this expenses split into two different categories, teachers’ salaries and other workers’ salaries. Teachers’ salaries have risen from 40% to 45% in the two decades. Although, in 1991 the portion have the optimum portion about half of annual expense and in 2001 fall to 45%. In comparison, the other workers salaries portion reduced sequentially from 28%, 22%, to 15%.
Resources and furniture and equipment have a variation change in 1981 until 2001. Resources fell from 15% to 9% where in 1991 has jumped to 20%. Furniture and equipment have risen from 15% to 23% while in 1991 drop to 5%. On the other hand, the insurance has constantly increased.
