Overall, it is evident that China accounted for the highest pollution in all categories and industry caused the highest pollution in China and Japan.
Industry was the main cause of producing pollution in China with 80 ppm. Similarly, in Japan industry ranked first among all groups of producing pollution with approximately 43 ppm. Conversely, industry exhibited the lowest amount of causeing pollution in America and Australia at around 30 and 20 ppm in 2021, respectively.
Transport had by far the highest level of resulting pollution in America with 60 ppm. But in Japan and China it ranked second with 30 and 70 ppm, respectively. In Australia, transport resulted the same amount of pollution as industry with 20 ppm. Electricity generation had the lowest levels of ppm in China with 60. In similar trend, this group accounted for approximately 15 ppm pollution in Japan. In America and Australia, electricity generation had almost 30 and 20 ppm, respectively.
