The given diagram illustrates the structure of the home smokery and the process of the working of the smokery.
From an overall perspective, it is conspicuous that the working process of home smokery is depending on three main stages for preserving the food espacially meat and fish.
In the first stage, the fresh air is introduced into the chamber with the help of lid. The air then passes along the pipe to another chamber. The fresh wind also helpful for logs to burn and generate fire. After that in the second stage the air entered to the other chamber where logs are use for fire and the logs burn into fire to create smoke.
In the third stage, the smoke than run into the pipes and move into the third chamber. The smoke passes from the pipes and toward the box where all food such as fish and meat it stored. The food soon preserved with the help of smoke and then the process completed.
