The given diagram illustrates the process by which the olive oil is manufactured
Overall, this process is primarily manual, with the help of some simple tools. Additionally, this step-by-step process is comprised of seven stages, from picking olives from the trees to storing and selling the olive oil to merchants.
The main ingredients are olives, which are collected by farmers in baskets and then rinsed in cold water. After being washed, these olives are carried by a conveyor belt into the next tank for smashing. There are two types of output in this step, the production of the olive paste and the removal of olive stones.
The olive paste is put into bags that have many holes before being put through a pressing machine, followed by another step is separating any excess water from the oil. And finally, the oil is packaged and delivered to stores where it can be sold
