The diagram illustrates the procedure of Cement Production Process.
Overall, it can be observed that there are eight stages in the cement production process, beginning with the raw materials of limestone and clay and ending with the finished cement product. In addition, complex equipment is used in some stages.
Initially, limestone and clay are extracted from a quarry and crushed into a fine powder using crushers. The powdered mixture is then transported to a rotating heater, where it is heated at a high temperature. During this stage, the raw materials undergo chemical changes to form a substance called clinker, which is essential for cement production.
After heating, the clinker is cooled and sent to a grinding machine, where it is ground into a fine powder to produce cement. The finished cement is then stored in silos before being packed into bags. Finally, the cement bags are prepared for distribution and delivery to construction sites and other customers.
