Overall, FedEx company had the highest number of delivered parcels at the beginning, but TNT became the first company by parcels deliveries at the end. Moreover, the proportion delivered by TNT experienced dramatic increase, while the FedEx’s number of deliveries was fluctuating.
To begin with, there were a flip in ranking between those two organizations throughout the period. In 1990, the FedEx’s number of load deliveries was about 15000 parcels, which is more than the quantity of parcels delivered by TNT company that accounted just above 5000 deliveries. However, due to constant rise in TNT’s deliveries, which reached approximately 18000 sends, it overtook the number of sends of FedEx in about 1985.
Furthermore, the two companies had different dynamics in the given time. As the TNT’s number of load delivery steadily increased, the organization hit a peak with total just under 25000 deliveries. Nonetheless, the FedEx’s quantity reached its own maximum with around 24000 in about 1930; then, due to erratic fluctuations, FedEx ended with around 17000 deliveries
