The village park used to offer only a few amenities for its residents in a decade ago. There was a football pitch in the middle of the place, with woods and children’s play area to the right and the pond was located on the other side of the football pitch. Futher from the car park, there was an entrance adjacent to which to tennis courts.
Since then, the village has changed considerably. While the entrance, children’s play area, and football pitch remained intact, car park and tennis courts have been extended, and pond was replaced by a boating lake. Children’s soft play area, toilets and cafe are now on the left-hand side of the map, which was previously occupied by a large woodland. Other alterations include the construction of a picnic area in the south-west corner of the map.
