The image presents two maps of Porth Harbour comparing its layout in 2000 with the current layout. In 2000, the map shows a road leading to a car park adjacent to showers and toilets, fishing boats docked at a fishing harbour, marina yachts, a lifeboat station, a passenger ferry dock, a public beach, and a disused castle at the harbor's eastern edge. The current map depicts the addition of a new café and shops area south of the former marina yachts dock, the relocation of the showers and toilets to the vicinity of the car park, the introduction of a cruise ship dock near the previous passenger ferry dock, the transformation of the fishing harbour into a new dock, and the conversion of the castle into a hotel.

The plans illustrate a Porth harbour in 2000 and how it looks now. Overall, the disused castle was transformed into a hotel, the car parks and lifeboat stayed same and showers are added in the today’s map.
In past, a castle was disused in the south-east, there were two public beaches and two car parks, and the toilets were in the North side of car park. There was a life boat at the end of small road and the Fishing boats were in the right side of large car park as well as Marina yachts in the right side of the showers. Passenger ferry and a Dock to the south-west side of Public beach. There was a main road to the west side of map.
At present, both car parks, the roads and a lifeboat remain unchanged. Cafes and shops are newly opened to the left side of lifeboat. The unused castle is replaced by a hotel and a members only beach fixed for the hotel members. A dock has been extended and now there are two docks. The marina yachts have been converted into fishing boats, while the former fishing boats area is now used for private marina.
