First, the samon eggs are layed below the small stones, which is under reeds. And the river is above all which is moving slowly. This process of egg to become fry take approx 5-6 months. And these Fry’s size range from 3 to 8 cm. These fry go alpng the fast flowing lower river. Approx after 4 years these frys turn to smolt which are larger in size( 12-15 cm).

The smolt stay in a open sea. They live in this open sea. This is first category to live in sea starting from the salmon egg. Approximately after 5 years this smolt turned to adult salmon which are 70- 76 cm in size. Then this life cycly further goes on, these adult salmon have intercourse among each other and the female lay eggs than this process goes on.
