Overall, three components sand, charcoal and gravel are used to build a simple water filter.
To begin, plastic barrel is required to build a water filter, which contain plastic lid to cover. Similarly, three components, sand, charcoal and gravel is placed inside the barrel, additionally sand should be in top layer, while charcoal and gravel should be placed respectively. Furthermore, the quantity of charcoal should be half in comparison to sand and gravel.
In contrast, impure water is poured inside the plastic barral then the layer of sand, charcoal and gravel, will filtered out the impure water. Afterwards the plastic barrel which is placed above in comparison to storage drum will transfered the clean water into the storage drum through pipe. Similarly, a tap which is placed at the bottom of the storage will provide clean drinking water.
