It is clear that this is a cyclical process in which carbon dioxide released from vehicles is reused by plants to produce more ethanol. It consists of 9 main stages, beginning with the growth of plants and ending with supplying ethanol for transportation.
Initially, a large area of trees and plants has been grown thanks to the energy coming from sunlight and carbon dioxide. After that, they are harvested and fed into a cutting machine, which slices the plants into small pieces. Subsequently, cellulose is extracted and collected.
After that, cellulose undergoes a chemical reaction and transforms into sugar particles. Following this, microbes are added to the sugars, eventually producing ethanol. The chemical is utilized as biofuel for many means of transportation, including cars, trucks and planes. The engines using this fuel release CO2 into our atmosphere, which is reused by trees.
