The given picture illustrates the entire step by step process of household central heating system.
Overall, the working can be divided into four main sub processes. The process starts with sending the cold water to the house and terminates with collecting the cooled down water from the hot water radiators and transferring it to the hot water taps.
Initially, cold water is sent into the house where it is collected in a water tank which further is used to fill main storage of the system. Next, the water in the storage tank is sent to the boiler which is powered either by gas or oil for heating the water. The outlet of boiler is connected to the hot water radiators through small tubes.
Now the radiators which are installed across the building make use of the heat in the water to increase the overall internal temperature of the household. As a result, the water cools down and is transferred to boiler with the help of a pump connected to the cold-water tube of the radiators, which is further heated and sent to the hot water taps through the storage tank.
