The diagram illustrates the production of biofuel which is called ethanol.
Overall, cyclical process is generally divided into two steps: production and consumption. The former includes five stages pf producing the biofuel while the latter culminates one cycle with only two steps.
Firstly at the production trees and plants grow getting energy from the Sun, and the mix of sunlight and carbon dioxide which is released to the atmosphere starts the process of photosynthesis where all flora get energy from. Having been harvested, they are transported to specific factories to pre-process the material. The result of the product will be cellulose which then is converted into sugar once it is processed using chemicals in laboratory. After adding microbes to the biomass, producers get the final product: ethanol.
Including only two steps, consumption process starts with distributing ethanol to be utilized for planes, tracks and automobiles, which is then followed by releasing the carbon dioxide to the environment to cycle the process.
