The diagram illustrates how chipboards are created from wood and then used to make furniture.
Overall, there are nine main stages in the process, beginning with trees being cut down and ending with chipboards being made into furniture. It is also noticeable that wood is dried by steam within 24 hours and stored for 1 or 2 weeks.
In the preparation stage, wood is collected by cutting down and trimming trees into logs. It is then transported to a machine, where it is made into wood chips. After being processed, wood chips are transferred to a drying machine to be dried for 24 hours by using steam while hot air will be released during the procedure. Next, they are stored from 1 to 2 weeks.
In the production stage, dried wood chips are put into a machine to be mixed with glue and wax. The resulting mixture is subsequently transferred to a mould, where the mixture is shaped. The flat dough passes through the pressing machine to press into shape. The finished product is called a chipboard which is used to produce furniture.
