In the beginning, water is collected from river and reserved in high level reservoir. The water of reservoir are controlled by dam which opens in the day time & keep closed in the night.
The water from high level reservoir flows through the turbines, which direct it to a generator. The movement of water then forces blades located at the bottom of the generator, to rotate converting kinetic energy into electricity electricity Then the electricity stones in the national grid through the power lives. During the night water is pumped boek into the high level reservoir from low level reservoir. The dam gets close then, so that the water cannot flow downwards. This helps the whole process. This is the most efficient process to generate electricity and provide it to the residents.
