The picture illustrates the process through which fabric is produced by use of bamboo. The linear, human-made process consists of nine steps, starting from bamboo being planted, and ending with clothes being manufactured. This is done with human involvement as well as with the use of special machines.
The process commences when in the spring bamboos are planted, after which during the autumn they are harvested manually.
Before being crushed with the purpose of making a liquid pulp, these bamboos are cut into strips using a saw. In the following stage the created liquid pulp undergoes filtration, while distinguishing long fibers from liquid. Afterwards, there is an addition of water and amine oxide, respectively, to the filtered fibers, in order to make them more soft. It is followed by the fibers being spined, making a yam, and the spin being converted to the weave, creating a fabric. Eventually, the ready fabric can be utilized to manufacture a wide range of clothing items, such as T-shirts, socks, etc.
