The image illustrates a 16-step process showing how household food waste is converted into biogas and fertilizer. Step 1 ('Households sort food waste') shows households placing food waste into a bin labelled 'Food waste only'. Step 2 ('Collection by truck') notes food waste is collected from households by truck. Step 3 ('Sorting facility') shows delivery to a building marked 'FOOD WASTE SORTING FACILITY'. Step 4 ('Contaminants removed') separates contaminants into 'Plastic' and 'Metal' bins. Step 5 ('Shredding') shreds organic waste into smaller pieces. Step 6 ('Mixing with water') adds 'Water' to form a slurry. Step 7 ('Anaerobic digester tank') leads into the 'Anaerobic digester'. Step 8 ('Inside the digester: bacteria break down the waste') shows 'Organic waste (slurry)' broken down by 'Bacteria break down the waste' into 'Biogas (rises to top)' and 'Digestate (remaining material)'. The biogas pathway includes Step 9 ('Biogas rises to storage tanks') labelled 'Biogas storage tanks'; Step 10 ('Purification'), cleaning impurities such as CO2 and hydrogen sulphide; Step 11 ('Compression'), compressing purified biogas; Step 12 ('Electricity generation'), using compressed biogas in generators to produce electricity for the grid; and Step 13 ('Cooking gas supply'), supplying compressed biogas as renewable cooking gas for homes and businesses. The digestate pathway includes Step 14 ('Separation equipment'), dividing into 'Liquid fertilizer' (nutrient-rich liquid fraction) and 'Solid compost' (solid fraction processed into compost); Step 15 ('Transport to farms'), transporting liquid fertilizer by truck to farms; and Step 16 ('Transport to gardens and farms'), transporting compost by truck to gardens and farms for soil improvement.

The diagram displays how household food waste is processed into biogas and fertilizer.
Generally, the food waste procress involves 16 major steps. The process begins with sorting waste and ending with a transportation tranformed waste to gardens for soil improvement.
First of all, the process starts with sorting waste by households. In adittion waste is collecetd by truck. In the third stage waste is delivered by truck to sort waste in facility. After waste is sorted, the organic waste is shredded. Afterward, shredded waste is mixed with water to form a slurry. Finally, the mixture is ready for store mixture in tank.
Subsequently, process countinues with breaking down bacterica with complicated process. Biogas is sent to compression and purification stage. In adittion, compressed biogas is used in electricity generation and gas supply for cooking.
On the other hand, digestate is transformed in separation equipment to get liquid fertilizer and solid compost. Finally, the liquid fraction is transported to farms. Whereas solid compost is used for soil improvement.
