The diagram illustrates how leather goods are produced. Overall, the leather-making process includes 12 different stages, beginning with the delivery of animal skin from a farm to the final waxing stage.
In detail, the process begins on a farm, where the skin is separated from the body of the animals. After that, the skin is delivered to the special area, where it is sorted based on its size in order to minimize the possible difficulty throughout the process. Then, the experienced workers trimmed their edges with the help of certain equipment. The process following with curing the skin onto the equipment during 30 days due to increase its resistance to any bacteria, and then the cured skin is soaked into water from 12 to 24 hours.
Following this, the pickling process comes next, including adding both salt and acid simoteneously into the giant rolling machine that is full of skin, after removing the hair of the skin by a knife. After 48 hours of the tanning stage, the skin is subjected to a cylinder-shaped machine for colouring and softening with oil. In the final stages, in order to remove extra moisture, it is dryed by speciel dryer machine, then with the help of the worker, it is waxed, making it ready to sell.
