The process provides information about the steps needed to produce electricity using one type of coal. Overall, the procedure consists of three main phases, including supplying coal from factories, the gasification process and the process of converting to electricity through a gas power plant.
In the first stage, coal dug up from the mines is exported to a crusher, grinding them into smaller shapes to be stocked up and fit in trucks. These trucks then deliver those materials to other factories for subsequent processes.
The second phase being gasification. In these dedicated facilities, the small pieces of coal are gasified using heat, which produces a large emission of gas. After being gasified, these materials have to undergo a cooling stage, releasing excess heat. Following the cooling stage, the material employs a cleaning phase.
The third stage begins with entering a gas power plant, generating waste heat. This process allows the freshly made materials to transform into electricity, which then be distributed to residents and industrial factories for consumption.
