The given diagram below illustrates how sugarcanes are processed to get consumable sugar.
Overall, we can notice that with the easy 9 steps, we can get consumable sugar from sugarcane.
The 1st step is to harvest the sugarcane, and then in 2nd step, we need to crush, soak and squeeze the cane to extract the juice and separate it from the plant. After that, in 3rd step, wehave to boil the juice until the syrup thickens and crystallises. Then spin the crystals in a centrifuge to remove liquid and produce raw sugar, now, we are done with 4 steps. In 5th step, we will transport the raw sugar to a refinery to remove impurities, then we melt the raw sugar, and filter the remaining impurities and extra colour to produce sugar syrup. Now, in 6th step, we have our produced sugar syrup.
After turning sugarcane into the sugar syrup, we will now make it crystallised in the 7th step. Then we just have to dry the sugar crystis and our consumable sugar is ready with easy eight easy steps. Lastly, in 9th step, we are going to package the sugar for distribuiton, and now it’s ready to send to local shops and stores as well as homes.
