The given diagram illustrates the role of uranium in the process of achieving nuclear power.
Overall, the preceding diagram depicts a process of making nuclear power with usage of uranium, starting from gathering uranium to moving away the expired uranium, which possibly can be reused adding a few additional steps.
This process starts with extracting uranium from the surface of the earth. After collecting uranium, it is converted and enriched to create U-235 fuel pellets. This U-235 fuels are responsible for powering the generators that make electricity.
Fuel made of uranium terminates after 4 years of usage and needs to be removed from the generators. Part of the fuel can be re-used to make the process sustainable, and after re-processing, fuel once again is involved in generating the electricity. Although, after 4 years some portion of fuel is still available to be intoduced once again to the process, not all is suitable. The rest of the fully used fuel is kept in containers and buried.
