The given bar graph demonstrates the total hours of unpaid work per week done by people in different categories. This data was caliberated in the form of hours.
To commence with the total married women without children worked for 30 hours per week to which extent males had done approximately 20 hours. Afterwards,with the children 1-2, married females were at peak say approximately 52 hrs, in contrast to males they would be at 20 hrs only. It shows that females work more hours compared to males.
Females with more than 3 children which were married work for 60 hrs and the rest of the fathers having more than 3 children works only for 15 hours. Thus, the working hours of females was quite high as compared to the males. The females with more than 3 children works for the highest among the all females while the ratio of males was decreasing by hours.
To sum up, the average hours of unpaid work done by married women was in rise while the same with married men is fluctuating with increase in number of children.
