The map demonstrates information of Shakefield town since 1995. Overall, the elimination of farmland, green space, sports complexes, and a fishery has created space for the establishment of a golf course, tennis course, cottages, parking area, vacation homes, eateries and yachts during the period. Additionally, the remaining areas – apartment complexes, hotel and coffee shops – have stayed largely untouched, with only small changes.
In 1995, the town used to boast a leafy environment, with farmland on top of the right corner. To the bottom of the green space was a city park nearby a hotel, and on the opposite side of it there is a coffee shop, near with a fish shop. The housing complex and sports venues were located on the other end of the road. There is a morning fish boats situated near the sea on the bottom of the left corner, neighbouring to fish market.
From then on, Shakefield saw a significant changes. The elimination of farmland made room for golf and tennis courses, and vacation homes have been built at the cost of removing the public park near the hotel, which saw a slight increase in size. While the housing areas have been stretched with newly-built complexes. The restaurants have been built, which resulted in the disappirence of the sport venues. The fish shop had gone and the apartment complex was in its place. Other changes includes the removal of the morning fish boat and the introduction of yachts, however, the coffee shop remained intact.
