The given pictures illustrate the way in which the layout of a art gallery has changed since 1950 for renovation purposes.
Looking at the illustration, it is immediately evident that some old features have been still there, whereas one area where Australian art has been relocated. Additionally, the place has undergone number of dramatic changes in terms of facilities with the introduction of new features of the toilet and the children art school, so has the Australia aboriginal art.
At the present day, the entrance and the sculpture at the center of art gallery have been remained unchanged, and so have the temporary exhibition and bookshop on the left-hand corner of the entrance. Besides, to the right of the sculpture, there is the early European art and the midle European art which have be kept intact. However, the Australian art was located to the right of the entrance and next to the middle European art. This has now been replaced by the Asian art.
Currently, changes have been made to other features, the most noticeable of which is that the courtyard located stretch along the wall opposite the sculpture area has been decided into three zones and shared the space with the children art school , the Australian aboriginal art and the Australian art in order from left to right. Moreover, a nearby coffee area has been also divided to share with the toilet.
