Overall, there have been significant changes to the area over the period given. It is noticeable that there has been an installation of a road bridge that spans the river on both sides.
Look at the first map, in 1965, the region looked like a remote area, with only a houses and constructions being built. The river occupied the largest area in this region, and also consisted of ferry for residents. Additionally, there were only a few trees at the top left corner of a map, along with Ashford houses for residents with the top right corner, a very basic facility in this area. Notably, the road crossing the river was not well-constructed, as it was unfinished and being cut down when going through the river, the only way to cross it was by boat.
In contrast, a road has been erected in the present image to replace the ferry, and a footbridge has been constructed over the river. Over the northeast of the map, a lot of facilities for residents are being built, several new apartment buildings have been constructed close by. A number of parking lots have also been created on both sides of the river to keep up with the other infrastructure development in the area, while the trees in the northwest corner of the Ashford area have been removed.
