Overall, honey bees pass through six main stages of life, beginning with the deposition of eggs and taking 34 to 36 days to reach their final mature form, whereas most of this time is spent during the process of becoming young adults, which takes about 21 days.
In the beginning, the female honey bees lay 1 or 2 eggs every three days. Before the honey bees hatch, they need to stay in the eggs for 9 to 10 days. When the honey bees have been hatched, they undergo nymph moulting in three different stages of their life, each of which takes 5, 7, and 9 days, respectively.
In the final stage, after about 31 days, when honey bees become young adults they only need 4 days to become their final mature form as insects, before the females begin to lay their eggs, and the cycle will begin again.
