The provided figure illustrates the production process for producing sugar from sugar can plants. Overall, it is clear that sugar is produced through seven dependent stages. The manufacturing process is started by growing sugar canes and ended by drying and cooling the final product before releasing it to end users.
Firstly, sugar canes are grown up between twelve and eighteen months. After that, in the second stage, sugar canes are harvested by two potential methods: manually, in which the harvesting process is carried out by humans, or mechanically, which is implemented using agricultural machinery.
In the third stage, sugar canes are processed through crushing equipment and turned into juice. After purifying the juice in a limestone filter, it becomes syrup throughout the evaporator by means of heating. Afterwards, in the sixth stage, sugar crystals are separated from syrup in a centrifuge pump. Finally, in the last stage, sugar is dried and cooled before supplying to packing centers.
