The diagrams illustrate the changes which occurred at a library between 2001 and 2009.
Overall, one can see that, the library had been enhanced to be the more modern one with more different types of books and facilities.
Looking at the maps more closely, on the northern of the library, there was a fiction book’s shelf which had been converted into shelf of children books with a children’s area below it. The historical and self help bookshelves located at the west part of the library, which the former had been changed to contained self help, kitchen, economics and laws books while the historical and fiction books had been put on the later.
There were 8 small tables at the middle of the library having been replaced by the 4 long ones. Newspapers and periodical bookshelf lied on the eastern of the library had been removed to make way for shelf of films and DVDs and a couple of computers had been installed below it. Moreover, the librarian’s desk, stairs and entrance had been remained unchanged at the Southern part in whole period from 2001 to 2009.
