The diagram illustrates the process how bricks are manufactured from the initial stage of digging clay to the final stage of brick formation.
Overall, Brick production is linear multi stage process which mainly on involves seven stages includig digging , grinding , moulding, drying, cooling, packaging & lastly transported.
Initially, Excavators dig the ground and extract the clay , once the clay is extracted, it is placed into metal grid & the roller. After that the clay is mixed with sand and water and placed in a mould or cut into pieces with the help of wire cutter to shape it.
following this, moulded clay is ‘passed on drying over for 24-48 hours. After that it was delivered to kiln with moderate temperature of 200°C-980°c then for more heat with high temperature of 870C-1300 c. Subsequently, it is placed into cooling chamber for 48-12hrs. Once the drying process is complete, the bricks are packed & transported to the consumers.
