The diagram illustrates the process of milk production in the industries before it supplies in market as a packaged item.
After collecting raw milk from dairies, the collected milk is passed through five different processes testing, standardization, pasteurization, cooling and homogenization. After all these steps, then the packaging of milk is done.
All the collected raw milk is stored in the holding tank. The primary process inculdes the testing of milk, before it going into other process. The required amount of milk is seprated for cheese or butter making and the rest amount is processed. Some additional ingredints like vitamins A and K are further added in the standardization step. Moreover, after this, the milk is passesed through high temprature heating coils. This process is known as pasteurization. After this step, the milk is cooled with help of cold water and further processed for homogenization. And, in the end, the milk is packaged in bottles for supply in market.
