The picture illustrates the process of a lead pencil being produced. Overall, the pictorial process consists of three main stages, beginning with planting trees and ending with packaging products.
The first stage commences with seeds cultivated in nurseries before being replanted four months later. After three years, trees are thinned to boost the growth potential and improve the quality of wood. Next, after being raised for 14 years, trees are chopped down to make materials for the production process. Subsequently, the wood is cut into thin slats, treated and left for 2 months to dry.
After that, a groove is made into the slat and glue is used to stick the bleach lead with the groove. Then, a new slat is put on top to form a sandwich before being hard-pressed and heated to make sure that the two slats are sticked.
Finally, after being cut into long pieces, they are painted, sharpened, and stamped before being put into custom-designed packages.
