The diagrams show a detailed illustration of the manufacturing process involved in producing olive oil. Overall, the process mainly consists of seven main steps, starting with picking, filtering, separating, and finally presenting the goods to customers. Notably, the majority of the steps are done by using special machines.
To begin with, the process starts with the picking of fruits from trees, the only stage that is done manually. Then, the fruits are sent to two different cleaning machines to remove impurities. In the third step, the cleaned fruits are smashed allowing the olive paste to merge and separate from olive stones.
Moving onto the later stages of the process, before further processing, the olive paste is put into a bag with holes. Before the paste is separated into oil and water, it undergoes the pressing stage. Finally, once separated, the oil is transported to the storage and soil for customers.
