The diagrams show a detailed illustration of the manufacturing process involved in producing olive oil. Overall, the process mainly consists of 7 main steps starting involving picking, filtering, separating, and finally presenting the good to customers. Notably, the majority of the steps are done by using special machines.
To begin with, the process initiates with the picking of fruits from trees, the only stage which is done manually. Thereafter, the fruits are sent to two different cleaning machines to remove impurities so that they will be smashed more easily. In the third step, the fruits are smashed allowing the olive paste to merge and separate from olive stones.
Moving onto the later stages of the process, before further processing, the olive paste is put into a bag with holes. Before bags are separated into oil and water, they undergo the pressing stage. Finally, once separated, the oil is transported to the storage and soil for customers.
