The diagram illustrates details about the recycling process of aluminium drink cans.
Overall, it is apparent that the process comprises several steps, beginning with waste being collected, and ending with the producing new cans over a six-week period.
At the beginning of the process, the wasted cans that people no longer need are gathered, after they are transferred by garbage truck to a deposit, where they are washed with water to remove impurities, and subsequently crushed into small fragments by a machine. Following this, these pieces are processed in the factory, and then being cleaned with chemicals.
The process continues with the cans being melted by heating at a high temperature to form a liquid. After doing this, they are poured onto a mould to create new cans, followed by measuring the weights of new cans. Finally, the new recycled aluminium cans are labelled by rolling them, and the ready to distribute.
