The process by which wasted glass bottles are recycled can be outlined in ten consecutive steps.
Overall, there are three main stages involved in the process, starting with the initial collection of the bottles, followed by actual process of recycling and lastly, delivering the ready product to the markets. The majority of the process is completed mechanically.
The first stage of process begins when the wasted glass bottles are taken to collection point after which they are transported to washing stage by lorries. Once bottles have been washed with high-pressure water in order to remove any dirties and infections, it is then taken to the glass factory. Before being burned in furnace with the temperature of 600-800 degrees, the washed bottles are crushed in glass factory.
After the liquid form of glass is shaped in glass mould, the last stage of the process begins with slicing off from the mold. Finally, the ready products are brought to the supermarkets for sale to costumers.
