The following diagram illustrates the process of recycling beverages aluminium cans.
Overall, the process consists of ten steps within the period of six weeks, staring with the collection of wasted cans and ending with the production of new cans.
Firstly, recycled cans are collected then transported by truck to a deposit installation, where they are cleaned with water and crushed into cubes. Next, the cubes continue the process where they are treated with chemicals as to erase the original designs, follow by being heated on high temperature.
The following stages include moulding the wasted cans to form a uniform shape and weighting each can to ensure the consistent in size. Lastly, the cans are rolled flat through a rolling machine before being produced as new cans and are ready be used again.
