The diagram illustrates the structure of home smokery and explaines how it is used to smoke food.
Overall, the smokery consists of three different main sections. There are air inlet, a fire chamber and smoking chamber. At first smoke is produced in the fire chamber and travels throuth a connecting pipe before starting to smoke a food.
Firstly the air enters the system through to the next pipe where is fire chamber then it produce smoke by burning fuel. The smoke then moves along an underground pipe to the central section, where it passes through a cooling area.
Finally, the smoke travels through another pipe and enters the smoking chamber on the rigth. Inside this chamber weighing foods such as meat and fish. The smoke rises and surraounds the food, allowing it to be smoked. The chamber is covered with a espacial lid, which helps contain the smoke during the prosses.
