The picture above illustrates the major steps in the manufacturing of carbonated drinks. Overall, the whole process consists of five major stages. Each stage has its own distint features.
At the first step, which is known as ”Water cleaning”, the raw material is being filtered and then water softers along with few chemicals are added in it. Afterwards, the material passed through a pump to enter the second stage which is called as ”Heating evaporation and Carbonation”. Here at this point, electric heaters are used to heat the water and then it is cool down with the help of a cooling pipe. After this, carbonation takes place and the carbon dioxide gas is added in the water mixture. The third place is ”Mixing”. The carbonated water is moved into a mixing tank and then colours, syrup and flavours are mixed in the product. Then this material entered at forth part of this procedure through a filter.
At the second last stage, filtering and the filling of product occurred. The carbonated drink mixture is poured in canes and bottles. The final step of this whole manufacturing is ”Packaging”. The final product is packed and then tranported to the markets. Hence the whole making of drinks is a complex and highly oraganized phenomenon.
