The image illustrates the stage-wise manufacturing procedure of carbonated water. This production includes five steps: water cleaning, heating evaporation, carbonation, mixing, filtering, filling, and packaging.
The procedure of sparkling water production begins with the first stage, ‘water cleaning’. In this step, raw water is sent for filtration in the filter, and then this liquid flows to the attached water softener machine. The softened solution is then mixed with chemicals and pumped for the second stage.
In the second stage, the water from the previous stage is heated using electric heaters and then cooled with a cooling pipe before being combined with carbon dioxide in a large container. This completes the carbonation step. After the completion of this phase, sparkling water proceeds to the mixing step. In the third phase, the mixing tank is used to add color, syrup, and flavor compounds to carbonated beverages. After that, the end product is filtered in the fourth phase. Later, this drink is filled into bottles and cans.
Finally, the fifth level is ‘Packaging’. Bottles and cans are packed into brown boxes and transported to supermarkets via trucks.
