The diagram depicts the manufacture of carbonated drinks. Overall, the process involves 5 main stages, beginning with the cleaning of water and culminating in the packaging for distribution.
Commencing with the water cleaning stage, raw water is collected from houses to a filter, where it is processed to remove physical impurities. At the second step, the water is softened and treated with chemicals before being pumped into the electric heaters. Once heated to eliminate bacteria, the water is transferred via a cooling pipe to a carbonation tank. Following this, carbon dioxide is injected into the cooled water to produce carbonated water.
Upon completion of the preceding stages, carbonated water travels into a mixing tank, where it is blended with colouring, syrup, and flavour. Subsequently, the mixture is filtered once more and then filled into bottles and cans. Ultimately, these finished products are transported by trucks to supermarkets after being packed into cardboard boxes.
