The graphic that is supplied illustrates how recycled paper is made.
Starting with the production of pulp and ending with the rolling of the finished recycled goods, the process consists of four main steps.
Used papers are gathered, put on a conveyor belt, and then moved to a tank that contains chemicals and water in the first step. For the next steps, the paper is then transformed into an unfiltered pulp. The liquid is then removed from the combination by placing it in a filter tank, and the filtered pulp is then moved to another keg.
In order to clean and make paper, the pulp is put in a large floatation tank that is filled with water and soap. The ink is removed with the help of air pumped into the tank, which enhances the pulp’s whiteness and purity. A clean pulp is used to move the pulp to a separate tank with chemicals and water for a final cleaning after it has been de-inked. The pulp is then run through heated rollers in the next step to remove the water. In the end, long rolls of recycled paper are made.
